Gerogivs did not start his reign until 1760 to 1807. So this is a strange coin.

Doesn't matter for this.  Reign 1760-1820 but 1718 on this coin. I'm not convinced the date is 1718 but hard to tell without having the coin in hand.

sorry about the dates. But here is some closer pictures with the a light angling as to highlight spots of the coin. 

This could be a contemporary counterfeit. Among other suspicious features, the first “1” in the date of the genuine coins is more like a “J”.

the coin looks a bit off too

Very crude fake, effigy looks nothing like any King George. Could be a contemporary fake or more likely modern crude fake. 

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

 Yes - even the date numbers look hand-made.
