Grey Areas in Signatures of Russia [gelöst]

As I am gathering more information on the signatures of Russia, particularly the Russian Empire, I am noticing that some of the signatories sign in larger areas than what they held a position in the state bank for. As an example, Pavel Konstantinovich Baryshev had been signing on banknotes as early as 1898 (P#1), when he had not even entered the institution until 1900. I was curious what the best course of action would be concerning the many signatures like this one.

Additionally, many of the signatories hold several positions over the issuing date range of a banknote, but there is no way to tell the difference of what position they held based off of the banknote. I will use Anatoly Konstantinovich Bylinsky as an example: He holds the position of Second Grade Assistant Controller for the years 1914-1916. He is also a First Grade Assistant Cashier for the years 1916-1917. These postions cover the entirety one of the variants of P#10b, the one signed by I. P. Shipov and A. K. Bylinsky for the Russian Empire. Since it seems weird to have the same person on a variant twice, what would be the best way to show this when updating variants in the future?

If I get you right…

1. The 1 ruble banknote dated 1898 was actually issued from 1898 to 1918. Baryshev's signature on this banknote first appeared when Timashev was the manager of the State Bank, and this was not earlier than 1903.

2. Pirozhkov writes in his book (page 24, second paragraph from the top) that “cashiers” were actually employees of the credit note department, regardless of what position they actually held.

1. Makes sense, just needed to work out the logic with issuing dates.

2. I had not seen this bit; I overlooked it and was distracted by the tables.

If I am understanding correctly, I propose that we change signatures that apply from their current title to “Empoyee of the State Bank Credit Notes Department”, so that it encompasses all the positions that a signatory under one general title. The dates would be from the time they entered the OKB to the time they exited, if known.
