The sun in the soul ☀️
I use an ultrasonic bath and distilled (demineralized) water in it. Mainly for silver coins. It is certainly more gentle on coins than brushes-pastes-and rubbing with napkins (up-down) which leaves smudges. Important note - do not mix different metals in one bath - they can interact with each other. I'm always a supporter of demonstration - photography - only now I'm temporarily away from home in Prague - so I can't show. I recommend it, but it's just my opinion.
