Coins and tools

I want to put some numismatic equipment directly to my coins. But I'm worried about them releasing some bad stuff into the air in the long term. Do you put your equipment like magnifying glass from plastic etc. right next to your coins?

If we go to the level of your worries I'd bet you (with your breath, spit, sweat and shedding skin) being in the vicinity of your collection is worse then some hard plastic.

And no, you generally don't pose a great thread to your colection if you handle it according to good practice.
