Googled the 1877 HS to find that this one is different to those shown.  This one is different below the shield and has an ‘S’ there as well.  Other mint marks seem to be below the head on the other side.

 

Any ID assistance appreciated

New here, just did image search and discovered it is a sovereign not a half.
