Ahoj.

I remembered a recently answered question about a coin that for a long time was accepted throughout Europe and tolerated by merchants for its purity of silver.

So when I found an article about the period find of "Prague gross" 

I decided to show you how these coins looked in their time - unless someone hid them for worse times.   And so it is a demonstration that these coins were not minted nicely, nor was the relief the same.  Coins were minted 24 hours a day and at night by candlelight until the die was completely broken.  And that in 6 workshops next to each other.

this was what a gentleman had in his coin purse in his time in the Middle Ages.
