The 1971 Turkish 10 Kurus coin (KM-898 ) F.A.O Issue is listed as having a bronze composition (97% Copper.2.5% Zinc, and 0.5% Tin). Most all 10 Kurus coins that I have in my collection from 1969 to 1974 except for one 1971 coin have the bronze coloration. I have one 1971 in my collection that appears to have a silver coloration instead. Is this a minting error, a victim of some sort of electrolysis, or a very cleverly designed fake?
