Hello,
Could someone please share information about 50 kopecks 1967 Lenin coin.
My question is related to edge of the coin . I have two coins of 50 kopekcs which have different direction of the points and stars . One is opposed to the obverse the other is not. Is this a error or it is regular part of the minting process ?

A regular occurrence in the minting process where the edge is stamped first then the blanks are fed into a hopper for next phase whereby the obverse and reverse are minted, coins are fed randomly into the minting machine and this anomaly can occur in up to 50% on the mintage. Definitely not a minting error

Thank you very much for your help. I didn't know that this is a normal part of the minting process.

Yes it happens on all coins with an edge inscription
