I think it is a collar issue.Not sure reeding is fine.

The rim seams thick then thin. Thick around liberty, the rim is touching the top of the y. Then thick again by date, rim touching the zero in date. Your thoughts. thank you daryl
Hello my friend. My guess is that this coin was originally an off center strike during the minting process and then later through circulation was caught in a mechanical device such as a washing machine or dryer where the offsets and rim were exaggerated further through mechanical pressure. Perhaps even run over in a parking lot. You can clearly see the sheer marks or abrasions around parts of the rim. Take care.
Hope you are well. That was my thoughts. But would that flatten out the reeding. The reeding looks ok.
Not sure how it could be alittle off center on opposite sides of coin. And there is nothing wrong with field of the coin. No abrasion makes on lettering or face.
