Is it just me or the strike very weak? 

Might be the plastic reflecting the coin, so it's impossible to say anything until the coin comes out of the plastic bag… that coin is one of the most counterfeit coins, by the way.

Can't see the neck. Hidden by the coat collar.

Ah, yes. There is something there. I know there are reported DDRs of this coin. Couldn't find anything about reported DDOs.

Everything is moot if it is not genuine. I don't think it is.

I haven't found any information on a 1914 Fatman ½ yuan DDO. 

This is the coin out of the holder. The coin looks nothing like the replica example from above post.
