I have an interesting George Washington Token/Medal. It weighs 6.63 grams and measures about 27mm in diameter. The text on both sides is:
1789 1ST President USA
GEORGE WASHINGTON
I've seen plenty of similar variations… like the one referenced here:
There seem to be many of this particular variation available, but they all have the text “1789 1ST PRESIDENT, U.S.A. 1797” at the top. The text on my example is different. Has anyone seen this variation before? Do you have any additional information about it that you can share? Thank you for any help you can provide!
