Just curious; what method did you use?

What do you think?

19 million minted. You show two coins and second one had not seen same amount of dirt/wear/corrosion as first one did.

I think you should keep the one with a lot of verdigris away from the coins you want to preserve. I also would be careful not to attempt to clean valuable coins.

It's a before and after not two coins. Looks to me like the firing method was used, or it was just thoroughly treated with mild abrasives.

Rust mark inside 2 gone without any trace.

Compare size of outer ring on obverse. Top and bottom left.

Leaves on first obverse have more wear.

Two different coins.

Or maybe it is just lighting. Damage below reverse К and П matches.

I used:

1. Vaseline (makes the dirt soft)

2. Wooden sticks (removes soft dirt)

3.  Conservator Cleaning Restoration Pencils for coins and artifacts (removes hard dirt)

4. Cotton swabs and diamond paste (for finishing)

5. Plus a few professional secrets

Thanks for the advice, but it's the same coin (before and after cleaning)

Yes, you are right, this is the same coin before and after cleaning.

This is the coin before and after cleaning. Since we are neighbors, you can send me any unnecessary coin and I will clean it for you absolutely free.

Sounds good. Only the diamond paste is something k would not do.

I'm in Estonia and if you want, you can send me a coin that you don't need (or wanted to throw away, but kept), which has no value. And I will clean it for you absolutely free
