When someone else turns down a swap request, it doesn't tell me that it was turned down until I also turn it down a week or so later after thinking the other person has forgotten or ignored me.
Does anyone else have this issue and can it be fixed?
There were a bug, which made the message show to the member who turned down the swap request instead to the one who made the swap request. So I fixed it for future swaps.
The message is displayed on the recapitulation page of the swap.
Moreover, the last action of each swap is displayed on your dashboard, so you can see if the other member has turned down your request. If he/she cares, he/she may also send you a message to decline.
That last bit, about the swap being declined in the dashboard, is what was missing. I've never been told anywhere that a swap was turned down. Only after I get no response for a week or two and turn down the swap myself does it tell me that the swap was actually declined a week prior by the other party.

The declination notification on the dashboard was already there.
The main problem is that some people don't answer to swap requests. They don't turn it down. So you can't get any notification.
