The words are written in the Seal script, which is known as zhuanshu (篆书) in Chinese. It was the writing style used in Ancient Times (Qin to Han dynasties) but it is still used today for carving words (usually names) on seals (篆刻).

Sure, it's easier to get the answer right away than browsing 50 pictures :)
It is much easier for me to id the coins from the catalogue instead of the pictures since I can read Chinese. The pictures, nonetheless, aid most people in identifying the words faster. I am not too familiar with the seal script and would sometimes rely on pictures to identify them too :)
