Dear all,
I recently added this page N#431797 to Numista. I selected https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ruler.php?id=761 as ruling authority because he was the Grand Duke of Tuscany at that time (1737-1765). However, there is no consistency in the naming of the rulers: sometimes the English version is used, sometimes the Italian version (compare ‘Francesco I’ to ‘Francis II’). See the picture below:

This is just one example of this kind of inconsistency in ruling authorities that is pretty common on Numista. I find this quiet annoying because names of rulers and titles of coin pages are just all over the place and not consistent at all. There seem to be no instructions on which language should be used on this page guidline page either: https://en.numista.com/help/coin-name-142.html.
So, what language should be use by default? And could the current discrepancies please be fixed?
