Hello ,
Can someone please share his opinion on this Hungary ,100 Korona from 1908 ? There are many restrikes made trough a long period of time and it would be very difficult ,for me to determine on my own whether this is a original or restrike. The weight is 33,61 gr. slightly less than other coins which guides me that it could have bean in circulation . The other interesting feature is that it has traces of a mount ( the white point shows this ).I know that such coins were often used in the past by people as jewelry on necklaces made ,from gold or silver coins for traditional folklore costumes.
This could be misleading but as far I can see the coin doesn't look fine ,glossy or proof-like as the restrickes.
