Thank you Matlo3.  I find the Mayan dot and bar system of numbers to be fascinating.  I did a video on these numbers that are found on Guatemalan notes.  If you go to youtube:  and then my channel @numismaticnoteswithbenjamin you can see it.  I am trying to see if some of the glyphs that appear on Honduran notes could be Mayan face glyphs that also represent numbers.

A number is written by stacking digits. Each level corresponds to a weight 20 times greater than the weight of the lower level, except for the passage from the 2nd to the 3rd level where the multiplication is only 18.
