Hi all, I have just received this coin with the AD die mark as pictured so was hoping the AD die mark could be added please.

Done.

I added yearlines for AD Die letters. I added both edge lettering versions as this was random position so if AD die letters exist, probably both versions can be found, similar like for AA or AB.

Brilliant thank you

Could you please do a little better photos of your coin and add them as an example of type?

See examples that I added here: N#9617

For this coin/variant, also edge photos are important,  not only full obverse/reverse or die mark photos.

Sure, will look to do it tomorrow in the daylight

Position A and B should not have their own lines (I thought we got rid of them catalog wide many years ago) unless you can proof that one was intended and only a few were erroneously minted the wrong way. But them being most likely mass ware and not put into the die by hand I doubt that's the case.

I thought the same and checked SCWC to see if .1 and .2 really were there. There also is a KM# 51.3 which Numista doesn't have.

The values would indicate that they are just 50:50 coins anyway regardless what Krause lists position A and B still should not have dedicated year lines. The information can be added in the comment section of course.

True but the Numista frequency indicated Position A is three times the amount of Position B.

Hard to say if that's true because position A most often is the first line and many people who couldn't give a damn about variants put their coins in the first line they see, then we also have the practice of reusing old year lines (when no undetermined was available) when there were no other variants before then adding new variants later leaving the old line populated by all the old users with all variants contained there.

I'm a firm believer in edge lettering is random up/down and shouldn't be listed as separate varieties but in some cases they are not random.  Without better evidence that these are random and with the (unusual) distinction in SCWC I think merging the year lines shouldn't be done.  Here is a screenshot of the page from 2014.  The different lettering orientation lines have been there a long time, maybe since the page was created.
