American collectors (of 8 digit US $1.00) call XXXXYYYY notes “2 of a kind.” They're hard to get b/c of the long string of digits (less chance to find one). You could call yours a “2 of a kind” but I am unsure whether there will be the same kind of following for your Solomon Island example.
Canadian collectors have 7 digit notes so we may get a note with the XXXZYYY pattern & the few of us who keep them call it a "3 of a kind." I have a few as I've searched so many bricks/bundles of notes, you're bound to run into them. They're not listed in our catalogue section reserved for “Special Serial Numbers” so they're not actively sought but more like “fringe” or “fancy” birthday # notes (a niche).
Also, some # combos will be more popular than others (such as 0001222, or 6667888 that type of thing).
