Hello everybody, i am a french collector, and i am looking for this coin set with this white package. Is it rare and valuable ? Because i have 3 of the red package one. But very hard to find this one especially here in France. Someone know the mintage of the red one and the white one? If someone have one to swap let me know.

I do got a Ike Dollar which is separate from that but is the same type.

please don’t take my responses seriously

4.9 million for the 3 silver set on the bottom but I think that covers both.

Yes thanks for your reply and i think the white packaging wuth this winter scene is more rare than the classic red package.

Greetings.  I wouldn't say that it's “rare and valuable”.  You're referring to the holiday packaging that was released at the end of 1976.   Here's the original press release for it from the U.S. Mint:

I haven't see any official mintage numbers released for just the  holiday packaging.  But I do see a few sets of the holiday packaged version available for sale on eBay from here in the U.S.   The sellers aren't asking for a significant premium for it either.

I think you’re right.  I’m pretty sure that montage is for both packaging.

Thanks for your reply. Nice reading this one. Yes i know it is not high valuable coin set but this holiday package is little more expansive that the classic one. And if i bought it ebay it will cost me more postage than the coin set himself

You are wanting someone to acquire this for you and get it to you more economically than Ebay?

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
