20 drachma 1960

Hi,

I got one of those coins but i wonder about its measurements, thickness should be 2mm and one i have is 1,5mm, dont think wear could do that much.

Diameter is 26,1mm

Weight is 7,28 g.

The quality of the images is lousy:

So your coin is legit, and numista is wrong in the measures, here are the measures from SCWC, which are the basis for numista:

A electronic caliper is better than a micro meter, since it measures the highest point of the diameter when applied in the middle of the coin, the micro meter measures “only” a point somewhere on the coin…..

I've said it before but I'll say it again, there's a reason thickness isn't an option in a Numista coin search. Much too unreliable.

Sry its the best i could take, thought it was wierd too but had to check since multiple sites say 2mm. Guess they copy paste from each other. :)
