Hello,

I found this coin. Nothing special. Common Prussian small coin, but why weight is 2.10 (-0.09g) and colour is yellow. Is it possible somebody to make fake pieces of this cheap coin or this is normal. I never see before.

I have no ideea but maybe its an error where they used less silver that suposed, or a replica made back then.

Could also be just toning, or like in a home with a heavy smoker silver coins often can have a yellow tinge (not just from the tar).

But that dosent explain the weight being different.

0.1 g is like nothing, there are tolerances and the coin could have been on the lighter side (and do we even know that the actual average weight is actually 2.196 g?), the scale has tolerances too + this coin is circulated.

Good point.
