Without necessarily giving out too much detail (unless you're happy to share that), where do people get their Exonumia from?
I get most of mine from local antique, house clearance or charity shops here in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, but I've been known to stray as far as the Midlands and East Anglia with work, so have had the opportunity to cast my net a little further afield over the past few years. I've occasionally bid for items that are more meaningful to me at local auctions, but I've been unsuccessful so far bidding for items online. I've also built up a sizable group of friends who keep an eye out for me and who occasionally find small items in their local areas, but this is really an occasional treat rather than a regular event. There are also my various sources aboard, especially in Holland where we have family.
How about all of you? Are you a Keyboard Warrior, or more of an Auction Hunter? How far will you go to get what you want ?
