Basic answer, anything that interests me.
I have my favourites, but if I se a coin from a country, era or type I don't collect and its affordable. I will buy it.
The joy of coin collecting, everyone is different and is free to buy whatever they want. As a coin collector or numismatist, you make the rules and you collect what ever will please you.
I have a bias for large silver coins though, particularly if it was issued between 1850 and 1939. I also really like the British series of coins, beautiful silver dollars and crowns and anything over the top elaborate. Extra points if the coin is an unexpected bargain and the seller is clueless.
Bling coins really push my buttons too.
BUT, they must be official and historic, modern tatt and NCLT do nothing for me.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
