I‘m very new to the world of coin and banknote collecting and as I‘m not that wealthy, I just collect circulation Euro coins from my wallet and a few coin roll hunts from my local German bank. However I have kept many coins in great condition and even a few old banknotes, which I‘d like to sell so I can afford to continue collecting.
My question for you guys: What is the best platform for selling coins & banknotes with low to medium value like commemorative Euro coins or 1st series Euro Banknotes? I have already tried to post an offer of a Euro banknote on eBa, which was immediately taken down. I didn’t now they had a policy against selling legal tender to prevent money laundering. I have also tried catawiki, but they told my AU 5-€-banknote 1st series wasn’t valuable enough for their site. Now I’m considering delcampe…
