Need help identifying crest and coat of arms on old (medieval?) silver pieces [gelöst]

Hello, I was recently gifted some silver coins by my old man, who had absolutely no idea where they were from. Seemed like some medieval pieces from Europe (could be anywhere from modern-day France to Germany through Austria). I've tried looking, but, ultimately, I'm quite stumped myself. Maybe there are some knowledgeable enough about these crests that could help.

I've tried replicating the recognizable parts of the two sides. One side probably has an 8-sided scalloped “flower” with a cross inside, and two lions in two of its corners. The other side has some interesting coat of arms with what I assume to be something similar to a fleur-de-lis in some of its inlets, but not quite. I've covered the parts that I'm not sure of with a gray strike-through.

Thanks in advance! Fingers crossed that a coin historian sees this…

It looks like a spanish 1 Real. Like this one: N#32165 or this: N#111643

Though you should check the weight too. I found a couple of 2 and 4 Reales with very similar designs.

Spanish South and Latin American colonies had similar designs with those MO/MD or other letters used to identify mint or location.

How about this one? N#76222

1 Real with a similar design and an MO mark, from Mexico.

There are a couple of good matches from there, with different sizes (1/2/4 reales) and different rulers: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=mexique&r=&st=1-2&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=g254&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&a=1500-1700&dg=&i=&b=&m=1&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&se=&c=&wi=&sw=

What's the weight and size of them?

This one look even better: N#40306

If I understand it correctly, the OM part refers to the mint (Mexico) and the third letter (P or D) is the assayer mark, which changes from time to time?

The picture of the coin that I've linked clearly have an OMP mark, while the one of the original poster looks more like OMD. Either way, it looks promising.

Dios mio, this seems rather promising indeed! Mine is a bit larger, about 40 mm in diameter, so I assume this is a badly damaged 8 Reales. Don't have a scale at the moment, though I will have the opportunity to weigh them in the coming days.

Interestingly enough, the N#15058 I found seems to look just like my two ones. Though it could very well also be a damaged N#15000 or N#317108 , can't tell as the date is gone. That would in fact probably be more likely, as almost all auction lots with Mo-D are of these two.

Probably sea-salvaged and cleaned at some point to boot. Neat. Thanks so much for looking!
