Does anyone know much about this company? If not then maybe you would like to check the internet and read a little more about them. Reason I'm mentioning this company is the fact the I see they have an advertising link at the bottom of some of the forums, which to be honest I don't think is a very good idea to allow such a rip-off company to advertise on Numista. They DO NOT produce circulation coins of any kind or for any country, what they do is buy proof and circulated coins from various places and resell at outrages prices after first offering you a fantastic bargain, once purchased they are an absolute nightmare to stop.  Please check out the reports on moneysupermarket and other sites about theIr antics.

The advertising at the bottom of the page on Numista, tracks your internet habits and displays ads for pages you intentionally or mistakenly clicked on. They target you based on your searched topics/websites. I was on an airline ticket site several times recently, looking for sales, and all my ads on Numista are now travel related.

That's the main reason I have put this on the forum, I have had an absolute nightmare with them after cancelling order then they start again after a couple of months to just start sending again. I refused to pay then received letters from debt collecting agency, paid bill then received bill for the same things again even after providing proof of payment. I told them to take me to court as I have the receipt. So far I haven't heard anything back. No doubt they will be in touch again but I have nothing to worry about.

That £5 coin I got I entered my card details in before but they are still pushing for payment  :S

I bought one of the help for heros coin because the money was for charity. Next thing they sent me some kind of gold plated threepence and said we'll send 5 more coins at £35 each no return envelope giving me 14 days to return after three days of phone calls they said would send envelope after a week; it had not arrived, phoned again - envelope took nearly 3 weeks to arrive - not a good experience.

If some one sent me coins through the post without my consent I would not go to the effort of returning them unless they paid me in advance.

I checked out their site and their prices are very steep. I sent them an email posing as a person who wished to invest money in coins and they replied saying "Sorry we do not help with investing, we are a specialist collectors service"

They required my address for me to contact them with the question so I will have to wait and see if any coins turn up. If they do I will not return them I will send them an invoice for £100 a day per coin for storing them and keeping their coins secure from thieves. I will also be instructing them to come and pick them up with payment in cash within two weeks otherwise the coins become my property to cover costs.
