Hi Danny.  You have an obvious counterfeit.  The eagle's feathers are the completely wrong shape.   Additionally, the 1879 Trade Dollar (Proof) was only minted in Philadelphia, not in San Francisco.

Very true.  I just looked at the user's Numista profile and it turns out that the whole reason he posted is because he's trying to sell it:

Yep, I noticed his incorrect English usage.  But I didn’t say anything in case he was typing on his cell phone and maybe Autocorrect kicked in and accidentally chose the wrong word.
