I have a 100 yen old banknote from the 30s it is the first banknote I ever bought so I wanted to keep it for the longest time possible with no harm because of the sentimental value it has for me.

Would you recommend polypropylene sheets to keep it long term? Does it have any harming chemicals that could damage my banknote in the following years?

This is from Google search:

Preserving paper documents

Polyester, Polyethylene, and Polypropylene are all archivally safe for preservation. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or any plastics containing PVC should ALWAYS be avoided.
