Inquiry about Coin Material and Minting Error

Hello,

I have a coin that I suspect may be made of German Planchet. Additionally, there is a light crack on the letters C, N and A.

Can you please confirm if this is a German Planchet coin and if the cracks are a minting error?

Thank you for your help.

Hard to tell from your images, but to me the cracks at C & N look like planchet flaws, the one at A looks like a Die crack but as the other two look like flaws logic would side with this one being also flaw in the planchet.

As for your question on „German Planchet“, other than there being an option for 100,000 German Planchet version of 1996 what do you base your thinking on?

Bimetallic planchets come in two parts and are pressed together during the minting process, which part is German? Supply your evidence from you own research to help us help you.

Your coin is a counterfeit.
