Dear Sir/Ma’am, if i may i would like to share some  specimen coins  from  my personal collections. I beleived that this additional information will make the current references in your records to be more effecient. Though all  will depend upon your evaluation and judgement.

im sighting here the records published showing the BSP 10p 2001 OVERSTRIKE type. What im about to show you is a BSP 10p 2002 with OVERSTRIKE and the most is

a BSP 10p with DOUBLE STRIKE as i named it.
and another BSP 10p 2015 OVERSTRIKE.

im quite sure that this matter will bring interest to you to bring out an updated references to all. I decided to show them in grid format to maximize and easy comparison too.

In my humble opinion are these coins not over struck or double struck..

More something like struck with worn dies..

The last photos shows a good example of  “mechanical/machine doubling” ..

Worldcoin collector by date & variety.. (Always on the search for Doubled dies)

These are error coins which should not be included in the catalog.

This file photo encourages me to submit my personal collection since i can clearly see them having the same type. Only my specimen coin bears another DATES. it appears not only on 2001 coin dates.

thank you.

I just thought it could benefit if the additional type can be added to the current record. If the existing files were enough then i will follow and respect  them.

again my appreciation & thanks.

From the Numista guidelines:

Numista does not reference random variations and modern counterfeits.

Variations are random or unintentional differences in the physical appearance or properties of a coin that occur during the minting process, after the production of the die. For example, mint errors, random alignment or edge orientation, slight variations of the planchet in weight or size, different colouration of the alloy, etc. These are common for ancient and medieval hammered coins. Error coins are also variations.

In the Numista catalogue, the variations are not listed as mintage lines. They can be mentioned in the comment field. By exception, mules are listed in the catalogue as separate types.

Machine doubling, double strikes, etc. do not rise to the level necessary to be included in the comments section. If they did, there would be so many that the important information would get lost. Just my opinion. Feel free to submit them to the referee on a CR.

Thank you very much for giving me such explaination & much more the option to feed my data. But i wont feed it anymore. Im satisfied and i also believed that it the growth of info. somehow could cover the main subjec…

i really appreciate your kindness & consideration.

thank you all.
