Are there any examples of large crown vs. small crown available?
Here's an example for the 1795 small/large crown:
Maybe large crowns come together with smaller spacing between the lettering and a higher bottom flower of the shield. The picture on the coin page has a small crown and also a low bottom flower and wide spacing while the picture in the comments sector (with the countermark) has a large crown and also a high bottom flower and narrow spacing.
To make things more complicated, here are 3 different 1799 examples:
Left picture: large crown, small spacing in the lettering and low bottom flower, all like it should be according to my previous post.
Middle picture: small crown, wide spacing in the lettering, like it should be but with less pronounced bottom flower
Right picture: even smaller crown but with small spacing in the lettering, the opposite of the expected.
Thank you so much for your information.
Are you sure it's the crown size and not the size of the letterings?
The year lines are falsely taking the cross size as a differentiator, who will change the all the year lines?
And why is 1791/1792 referenced as KM# 309 when it is KM# 306?
I didn't look into that, concentrated on the “crown size differences”😊😃
Again, one of the mysteries buried deep in Numista.
What happened to the 1795?😇
I'm sure it will disappear when you fix your graphic.
Right you are, but really do we need to check everything from trusted members? From me yes, since I have glitches!
