3000 forint 2025-wrong date?

Hello everyone, 

I just saw that the Numista catalogue entry for Hungarian 3000 forint and 15 000 forint coins "Chamber of notaries" issued in 2024 states double mintage compared to the data from the mint (total 10 000 coins instead of 5 000), while also categorizing them as 2025 coins. Are these just mistakes or did I miss something?

I think you're right, there must be some confusion here with the dates. These two coins are from 2024, commemorating the 150. anniversary of the Hungarian Chamber of Notaries (Magyar Polgári Közjegyzőség).
But in the 2025 plans of the Hungarian National Bank, there is a series for the 150. anniversary of the Hungarian Bar Association (Magyar Ügyvédi Kamara). I think someone might just confused these two institutions and updated the numista pages to 2025?

Either way, these are yet to be released in late April. Also the designers are different of the 2024 coins and the 2025 ones.

I did not want to correct it right away, because I thought that maybe the Magyar pénzverő decided to mint part of these coins in 2025 or something (I did not watch new Hungarian issues for some time, so it was possible I have missed something).

By the way, the MNB is creating quite a lot of confussion itself with the new issuing plan. It seems quite strange to me that it did not publish the design of most coins yet (as in previous years) and will only do so really shortly before each issue.
