Hello, help me figure out what kind of defect this is. This is the first time I've seen such an error. The edge of this coin must be smooth.

One end of this strip on the edge seems to come out from the obverse, passing through the coin. Is anyone familiar with this type of error?

Some one has gone around the coin with some wire cutters or something causing the damage on the edge and reverse of the coin. No error, post mint damage.

Does the dia match the coin page?  To me looks like it has been rolled over. What would make the dia smaller

It is, what it is, or is it.

Diameter and thickness correspond. Weight is almost 9.87 grams instead of 10 grams

odd but iam thinking PMD

I understand, thank you. It is possible that it was done with nippers.

something, looks like there is a make on the front and back. Where the lines are on the edge.

It is, what it is, or is it.

I don’t know what nippers are, but I thought maybe nail clippers as a possibility. They have simply gripped the rim of the coin and the edge and squeezed leaving the indentations.

Yes, I think you are right.
