Fake 1916 Half Crown?

Hi Everyone,

I got what appears to be a 1916 UK Half Crown, but to me it seems a little off, what do you think? It's weight as 11.3g which seems to light, the width and diameter  were correct, but the colour seems off too me. And the big one, when I put it on a magnet and slide it down it appeared to move down far two quickly compared to a genuine 1921 half crown I had.

It looks fake to me too. Probobly cast in tin-lead solder.

Counterfeit coining was a cottage industry in many parts of the world, especially the UK. still is I suppose.

At least it is a domestic contemporary counterfeit, in my estimation, rather than a  modern Chinese copy.

Thanks, luckily I just found it in a bag of coins and didn't pay for it directly, but I will add to my fake bag of coins, which is sadly growing. Together with a fake 10 Rupees from 1972 which was supposed to be silver but is magnetic. Oh well.

I also have more than one…😒
