Double Headed 1942 US Quarter

Hi Everyone,

This is an interesting coin I found today a double headed 1942 US Quarter. I am pretty sure it's two joined together, because under the microscope I can see the join, and what looks like solder added to “join” them together. But what interests me more is if its two genuine 1942 quarters which would still make it silver? Weight wise it's 1.5g lighter, thickness is the same as the original, but dimension is a little off by about 2mm. When i put it onto a magnetic it has small week magnetic field. 

What do you think?

it's a good question I am not really sure, and I don't have another one from that era to look at to compare to see if both sides are real 1942s.
