I've got one I swear is doubled obverse, w/die cracks, pits, classic horizontal gouges on Eagle etc. Prob. has 2 or 3 VAM numbers. Someday I plan on grading it unless someone wants to make an offer - I'd send it to you to check 1st - you need good magnification to really see it all. Lemme know...Rob
P.S. if this sounds like commercial selling, it's not. I'd be perfectly happy with a suitable swap offer!
I'm not into Morgan dollars that much and I'm not interested in swapping or buying, however that sounds very cool. Please upload some pictures.
Give me a dozen men who are not afraid to die, and I'll accomplish what all the Generals & Admirals with all their Armies & Battleships cannot. -Otto Skorzeny the best special forces commander ever.
My camera won't take that kind of close up,sorry. I'm with you on Morgans though-the only thing they're good for (to me) is getting 'em low and dumping them high! People are nuts about them, but will not touch 'em unless they are MS60 or better. Or rare. Whatever, there's lots of better looking coins out there! Night! Rob
No scanner, guys. When I get it graded,I'll post the results. I've got a '81-s ms64 that needs to go back for VAM certification, and a nice '92-o that also needs to get done. It's (I hope) ms62-63+ plus VAM, which I grabbed at $35. Like I said, I just re-dump them. I really prefer Mexico & Canada for beauty, though there are many others also. I'll post all the results. Knowing that graders get through about 1 coin a month, I should know sometime around Christmas! Rob
All Morgans & Peace dollars of XF to BU, safely and with profit, now belong to others! YAY! Now I can concentrate on other silver beauties, Mexico my favorite, along with others. Hope all had a good & safe Easter, Robert.
