Hi,
I have to doubt that KM943 exists. Over the last 10 years I have examined many coins and researched on the internet and found no evidence that the reeded edge version exists.
Who can post a photo of this coin where you can see the coin and the rim?
Thanks for the support.
Rupert

I'm sorry not to be able to send a photo (I'm far from my collection) but the one I have is reeded edge.

Thank you Dejan. Maybe you can send a picture later. I am still sceptic and interested.

Nobody else who have this coin? I am more sceptic …

Thank you for pointing this up Rupert. While we wait for possible confirmation from Dejan until he comes home, I did some basic research and indeed it's really weird.

There are no graded examples in population reports. Ucoin listing has a single photo with plain edge.

Currently there are no photos that we could confirm it. Yet, the occurrence here is relatively high. I am lazy to contact all the people from the swaplist, so @Numismatica Balladares , @amarnath , @kashmala  could you confirm it?

Since no evidence of the existence of this type of coin has been found to date, let alone anyone being able to report anything concrete about it, I assume that:

- this type of coin does not exist

- and those who think they have this type of coin are wrong, or the coins have been manipulated

As the saying goes: ‘You can easily add a “possibly” new coin type to a coin catalogue, but it is impossible to remove a false coin type.’

Whether this is the case here, I have no idea. In any case, the coin community is not powerful enough, and even collectors who are directly addressed do not respond at all. I find that very unfortunate...

Natbaj said in his last post, ‘I am lazy...’. I am even frustrated because I have never, ever been able to solve a problem or answer a question in the forum...

Please excuse my straightforward words.

My mistake, sorry - the one I have is also plain edge.

This is very true. Nearly impossible. One option is general consensus of the community.

As of your own collection - you may conclude as you wish, but I am sure you concluded for yourself as I did - it does not exist. As of removing it from catalog we need a consensus. Some issues are solved in the community, some are terribly slow going. Don't give up researching, Rupert :)

P.S. Wish everyone pleasant holidays a successful New year - a lot of new coins and some new clarifications :)
