First post. Trying to find info on this token including valuation. I found the one in the catalog, but, it says "reeded edge". Mine does not match that description. It weighs 21 grams (my scale does not do decimals) and is 35 or 36 mm. Is this a possible variant? What is the likely valuation of this item? Should this be added to the catalog maybe?

This one?

These are my pictures. You can see it is plain, unmilled/ reeded. I do not see in the current catalog one listed with a plain unfilled edge like the one I have pictured. Does it make a difference in collectability/ value?

Did you look at rsirian1's link carefully? That's the one with a plain edge:

Your slot token shows a badly worn reeded edge. These tokens saw a lot of use. Your token is the 1988 version on this site.      https://chipguide.themogh.org/cg_chip2.php?id=nvlagn&p=000010000000000000000&v=166599#240

Reeded when a bit less worn.

How can you tell the difference between the 1988 and the 1989 versions?

Referee for Exonumia from United States

[edit] Similar for Las Vegas between 1988 and 1989

The mint mark is the difference on the Laughlin Tokens. The link rsirian1 showed was for the Las vegas casino.
