Hi all, I'm looking for some help, on the 2 ½ Gulden page it references a soft and detailed hair variety, would any be able to help identify which my example is? Thanks

The Normal (soft) hair style, assuming the Far legend applies to the 1932 version in the same way as the other two years.

But it is sort of a moot point as the wear / grade has rendered the hair details irrelevant.

What rubbish and moot reply as no assumptions are necessary. If you cannot answer a simple question, I suggest you dont reply at all as you are less than helpful. Clearly the OP asked a simple question about  details which you are incapable of answering without injecting your opinion about grade and dismissing the question as “irrelevent” as if the inquiry was not even worthy of asking. CLEARLY all the information necessary to answer the question is on the Numista page because others took the time to provide it.  You obviously did not read it.

What are talking about? The OPs question was answered by me - Q „would anyone help identify which example mine is?“

I answered with „The normal (soft) hair style“ with the caveat that „assuming the far legend applies to the 1932 version“ because on the Numista page, the 1932 coin „the far“ legend isn’t included in the info graphic which @Sjoelund produced.

So I don’t know if this applies to the 1932 (and thus the OPs coin), something you should have realised when deciding to simply berate my response and repeat what I had already stated. This makes you look rather angry and sad all in one forum post, especially as you then posted an info graphic to back up your ramblings from the 1933 coin (which the OP doesn’t have), I wonder if you even read my answer and fully understood the simple English structure of the sentence before you yourself saw red and replied with absolutely no coherence?

As for the my second sentence „moot point as the wear / grade has rendered the hair details irrelevant“, yes I stand by that statement, the whole purpose of distinguishing between the two is to see the difference in the detail in the hair, which unfortunately because of the wear can’t really be seen. I did not and do not make any judgments on the OPs coin, nowhere did I make any such comment, so I ask you @HJG  previously HarryG who deactivated his account and left Numista because he was asked to apologise for breaking forum policy after being rude and abusive, why are you back under a different account name and doing the same things as before?

Well it seems HJG reply was deleted in the time it took me to respond. At least in my response I quoted his response in for all to see.

I don’t what happened, I simply cut and pasted like always, this has always been adequate in the past and the images could previously be enlarged. I will endeavour to double check image enlargement before posting from now on, and wholeheartedly apologise to the forum community and to you sjoelund as you do great work with these info graphics.

On that note, is the far and near legend not applicable to the 1932 coin?
