Hello, i recently came across a 100th anniversary commemorative medal ‘In God we trust’ .

Does anyone know this coin, or its value?
I only found it on one site (Numista)

It listed info but limited. Shows a number of 5200 or so produced.

Can you include a link to the numista a log page

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Yes, here is the link page. I recently came across this coin and purchased it out of curiosity. I am just wondering if it would be valuable due to its limited run and the fact that it references the 2 cent coin Of 1864.

Anyone interested in this coin or know someone that may be or that would have some kind of knowledge of it's value, if any. Thanks

Welcome to Numista.

Franklin mint stuff generally goes for a bit over spot value regardless of subject.

5000ish is actually about average for Franklin mint issues. They were sold by subscription, so “limited edition" as my father used to say means “limited to as many as they can sell." The actual number of pieces still in existence is probably much lower than published mintage, as many people scrapped their Franklin mint fal-de-ral during the big silver price run up in the 1970s.

Low numbers remain perhaps, but interest of anyone besides silver stackers is low as well. I am only sure of one other member of this board besides myself who actively collects the stuff. I don't like to pay more than bullion value. I admit I am a silver stacker as well as a Franklin mint fancier.

By the way, this is a medal rather than a coin. A coin has a face value and is issued by a government. Everything else is Exonumia.
