RIC 1 49. Rome mint, struck 40-41 AD ( Gaius- TR  P COS IIII) , obverse shows a wonderful familial strike of Caligula’s brothers, Nero Iulius and Drusus Iulius , with cloaks flying in the wind at a good gallop.   Note their tunics and the grooming of the manes and bridal tact.  they are probably in the circus of Caligula and Nero (54-68 AD- which was where the left side of St Peter’s is currently). The FlavIan amphitheater was not yet built. The obverse inscriptio reads:  NERO ET DRVSVS CAESARES  = Nero and Drusus Caesares. Reverse has large SC with inscription: C CAESAR DIVI AVG PRON AVG PM T RP IIII PP- Joe Geranio Photo Collection. Julio Claudian Iconographic Association.
