Golden hind ghost line__another anomaly i found on 1965-1966 half pennie unrecor

 What? Is it not just a rope like all the others have? 

Just asking. 

If you look on other coins the line isnt there according to the mint they said die ware i found it on 2×1965-1×1966

and the errors have it missing?

 So the ‘ghost line’ of the title refers to a line that is not there, 

rather than the line that is there? 

Normal coin has no extra line error coin has other line 

 Confused. Surely that last picture, ‘error’ is not an error - 

as that curved line was always meant to be there, to connect the sail? 

The error would be if it was missing - as in die wear as mentioned earlier? 

Im not sure how the mint works it out as i thought it was a variation of the coin they came back with die wear baut all 65 and 66 coins i have only 3 found with extra line 

I called it ghost line as only appears on 3 coins i found i am quite new to collecting 

Possibly a die crack.  Is it raised up or recessed? Is it the same on the three coins?
