This appears to be the image of an tipical south indian kasu coin.

I agree, the coin is misidentified. It does look southern indian and not Kushan. I've checked the south indian coins in the cataloge and also on Zeno. I couldn't find a 100% match, but for me Sivaganga coins seems to be the closest ones:
- Sivaganga in Numista
- Sivaganga on Zeno

The Thanjavur Nayak coins are also close:
- Thanjavur in Numista
- Thanjavur on Zeno
