Curious rejection of this Yemen coin, Y#4.2, slightly different than in catalog

I do know this Yemen coin is essentially the same as N#63080, but Krause mentions this coin as a distinct variety, Y#4.2. The Accession date is on the coin as 322 (1923). So would it make more sense to make a new coin page as I just did, or would it be better to add this variety to the already existing page of 63080? The diameter is also slightly smaller at 15mm instead of 15.3mm for the above coin.

Isn't it already on N#63080 ? What was the reason for rejection?

The variety I have is not mentioned on this page, and since Krause has a different Y# I thought I should add a new page with the link back to N#63080

That's not it?  What was it rejected for?

Yes, that highlighted is the coin I was looking at and is my coin, except for the minor differences observed, namely the Accession date does not have a 1 in the date so reads 322, and the diameter is slightly smaller. So the referee probably thought I was posting to add to the catalog the same exact coin as 63080.

Should also add the weight was slightly higher for my coin at 1.1g vs 0.9g for the 63080.

This is SCWC/NGC Picture for this coin:

322 Accession date.

What was it rejected for? The referee should have told you why they rejected it.

Yes, that is the coin on ngccoin (their picture is of the x341 for the date)… The referee thought I was posting the same coin as 63080 hence the rejection.

Sorry but as far as I can tell you were.  I don't see a reason to split KM# 4.1 from KM# 4.2. The question I have is what is KM# 4.3?

So do you think it would be a good idea to include the Yemen Y#4.2 data (my coin) with the 4.1 data?

I too wondered what Y#4.3 is? Perhaps there was another coin that would have been included or perhaps a typo of some kind and 4.4 is really 4.3?

Great discussion so far rsirian!

Maybe but that is an entirely different conversation.

Do you think I should start another thread on possibly including my idea above?

If you want to discuss splitting a coin page it should be in the Numista coin catalog forum with a requesting the modification of a coin in the catalog tag.  Let the experts decide.

Huh, I just noticed this addition to the N#63080 page. In the references part of that page, I see it got modified to include Y#4.1-4.3, so I think the referee added that info to include my coin. So I guess it got solved after all, though I feel I should add what exactly Y#4.2 is, and I could probably add that info to the current page.

It's always had Y# 4.2 on the year line comments but it looks like the references were changed to include the three Y#4.x numbers. I still don't know what Y# 4.3 is.
