Hi my friends, anyone can confirm that this note was usually used by citizens of Djibouti for ordinary shopping?? Or is it only collective item?? Thanks

I am not confident this note actually circulated. The central bank doesn't include it on its circulating notes page, and I can't find any news of its issue outside of collecting circles, unlike similar commemorative notes from other countries.

Should kind of agree, if you see that in 2017 coins up to 500 fr. were in circulation, it is unlikely that these were issued in circulation (or even that they were sold at face value)
