This coin has the edge description as “scamed”, something I've never heard of.  I can't think of an obvious typo, and it does not appear to be a word from another language version of Numista.  Any thoughts?

Cheers

This Bolivia coin also has the “scamed” edge. Maybe uploaded or edited by the same person?

I wonder how it's looking?

Hi,

the first edge type used in Potosi, Lima and Mexico in that time for milled coins (after the cobs), just to avoid clipping.

In Spanish it is called “cordoncillo laureado” (from the laurel-leaves shaped figure)

You should add that to numista's edge definitions, if they still exist?

This would probably fall under 'embossed pattern' with additional information (Laurel leaves).
