Verweis : Mark240590Its one of my fav coins in base metal but what's not cool about a fat bandit looking hulk hogan and a starving budgie eating a worm ? Lol
That fat bandit is Don Alfonzo Toromierda De Tacosito, Mexican patriot and National hero. In 1932 he created a delicious snack consisting of delicately spiced beef with salsa in a flour tortilla wrap. It went on to be named "The Taco" in his honour and is Mexico's third largest export behind drugs and criminals.
He is also credited with inventing the leafblower shortly before his untimely death from experimenting with a Burrito made from processed worm meat. Each morning patriotic Mexicans stand solemnly in a line outside of every Home Depot in America holding leafblowers in tribute to Don Alfonzo.
In 2012 the Mexican Government accepted a petition to remove the "budgie" from the reverse of their coins and replace it with two crossed leafblowers above a taco supreme. The new coins will be issued one week from tomorrow (Monday).
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
