Hm, have not thought about cladding but this is nothing we could discern from a picture let alone one with suboptimal quality.

It doesn't appear to be fouree. No sign of bronze in the cracks on the edge or in the pitting on his face, and on my metal detector it reads a 51, same as my other denarius of Faustina II which I know is not fouree.
