Kennedy Half Dollar

I have a 1984 P Kennedy Half Dollar mint condition. Has the date 1960 stamped above “In God” and the date 1985 stamped above “Trust” Anyone ever see this?

I've never personally seen something like this, I would guess someone decided to stamp the date twice, part of me wants to say its a fake and they are using the double date to get away with selling it. I'm sure there is someone out there with much more knowledge on half dollars than I do.

Take the coin out of the holder. Then please make a cropped image of the coin in question, both sides of course.

So somebody stamped the dates 1960 and 1985 on a the coin. Probably some type of anniversary. 

Yes, private club event or some such. 

We most likely will never get the story.

In the US, Kennedy half dollars are, with Lincoln pennies, the most common hosts for fantasy countermarks. If you have a look at this search in eBay via picclick, scroll down and you'll see the same double-date countermarks as well as different dates:

I have a gold plated one like the one shown  in a pendant.

I was given to me by a friend like 30 years ago.

I just saw a couple of the gold plated version up for sale on E-Bay.

They are encapsulated on cards.

The card states that the dual date stamp is to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of his election to the presidency.  

The card also states that the plating is 24 Karat.
